Contraception
Having access to a range of contraceptive options is important for all women, at any stage of life. But sometimes, it can be hard to know what type of contraception is best for you. Femma is here to help you select and access contraceptive options that you can be confident in.
Contraception
There are many types of contraception. Hormonal and non hormonal versions exist and within those categories, both long and short acting options. Choosing the one which is right for you can be overwhelming. It’s worth taking some time to consider what is most important to you when making this choice. Most of our information usually comes from the experience of friends and family. Whilst this is important, our personal journey shouldn’t stop there. We also need to think about other factors such as how good we are at taking tablets,
how heavy our periods are and how comfortable we are with options such as intrauterine devices (IUDs). Your doctor can support you and help you to understand clinically safe options for you based upon your personal preferences.
